My parents had a small farm just outside Hyderabad and wanted to build a retreat on it. With the abundance of granite available, I tried to design a building in stone and stone slabs. The rooms surround a swimming pool and form informal spaces that look onto the countryside. Limited budgets brought about this early form of 'farmhouse'.
