The project was conceived at a time when I was reading the book 'Tao of physics' where the author establishes a link between the movement of atoms in space and Shiva's cosmic dance. By superimposing a bronze Nataraja, with a photo of atoms the author suggests that both are dancing the same dance of the universe.

The design strives to seek unity with the cosmos in its use of space, texture and light giving the buildings a sense of movement and not creating institutional monoliths. The master plan illustrates the location of the complex close to a artificially made lake. The shape of the buildings came from a sketch of the movement pattern of atoms. The end result is an organic form with buildings appearing as leaves on a large plant.
