Each group of rooms has a small entry court that acts as a buffer to the main circulation. Away from the main complex are clusters of pavilions that are connected by shaded walkways. Each pavilion has a view of the fort. The building is made entirely in Jaisalmer stone with bright colourful fabrics that have been used extensively in the interiors.
