On either end of the street are Gopurams or gateways enclosing the village. The pattern of the settlement seemed the ideal form to follow while evolving the school design.

The present school was located in several houses and the new design was based on a set of houses along a street and covered with a large roof. The sketch shows a series of teaching spaces linked by a central spine that ends at a large auditorium with smaller open class rooms along the way.
