This decade saw a large number of projects come into the office. The hotel in Bhutan was an exhilarating experience of working in a land that had yet to open its doors to the world. The Delhi Orthodox Church tested the practice to the extreme and many difficulties were faced when trying to convey the intricate details to the builder. Flats climbing up a hillside as seen in the Secunderabad project were unique and enjoyable to construct, while the residence in Sohna taught us a lot about natural stone. IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) was an intense effort at trying to conceptualize buildings that related to the airwaves of radio and television.
